![]() It’s been there for a little while, evidently, since I sat next to a framed review of the place by Orlando Magazine. That’s how I discovered Graffiti Junktion in Thornton Park. While I don’t trust the average person at all, it’s not a bad way to discover places you might normally miss. They’re going to tell you about the best burger they know about, even if it isn’t the best burger in Orlando. Never mind that the average person isn’t unbiased or even knows what all the other contestants have to offer. We have contests in the newspaper, contests on food blogs, and web sites full of reviews from people who give their own experiences. She checked back on us often as she was running around to all of her other tables.Every time I turn around, someone is either asking about or telling me where to find Orlando’s best burger. We did have two other friends join us later and Maddi was just as pleasant to them as she had been to us. The burger was huge! Two burger patties, Canadian bacon & a fried egg. I had the Iron City burger w/tots & added avocado. They have a small brunch menu with five items: burger, avocado toast, biscuits & gravy, pancakes or breakfast scramble as well as a few side items. She was busy but we never felt neglected. ![]() ![]() She kept on top of our orders and drinks. She was great!! She came over right away, gave us the rundown on menu and unlimited mimosa's ($13) blody mary ($5) or sangria ($6) options and was very efficient. I felt a little bad at first as we were only three people, but I am glad we sat in Maddi's section. Happy hour and brunch are totally different experiences anyway :)įirst impression: not so great. I wanted to give this location another chance after having a not so good happy hour experience. I was so glad I did and hopefully the post will get a better staff management and food at "Grafffiti Junkktion". I could not eat anything in my plate and begged my friends to move our party to STUBBORN MULE Restaurant (immediately around the corner.). I was so disgusted and vowed never to return. Needless to say, trying to give them a chance we discovered the drinks were watered down, the beef burgers tasted old, the flies were waterlogged and our silverware was dirty. It was the strangest thing like we had entered a bad 1960's movie. When we finally got the waitress' attention, she insisted she see our drivers licenses (my boyfriend is 60 and my best friends were all in their 40s!). ![]() We waved asking to be seated and she turned away as the two waitresses tickled their cellphones & what looked like a "manager" sat at the back bar. She simply ignored us while talking to the one customer at the bar. The afternoon I arrived for lunch with friends, I was disgusted by the bartender who seemed oblivious that guests. Orlando has several incredible places for that experience BUT "Graffiti Junktion" is NOT that place. I am definitely a "foody" and love a great dining experience.
